L'Hybrid SQR è il primo prodotto di Companion. Fonda una nuova generazione di paracadute di emergenza, che fonde i vantaggi della classica capottina rotonda e della versione cross in una tecnologia innovativa e lungimirante. L'SQR è stato sviluppato di recente sin dall'inizio, ed è precisamente diretto a soddisfare le esigenze di piloti e imballatori.
Innumerevoli simulazioni al computer e test pratici sono stati una parte essenziale di un ampio processo di sviluppo. Il risultato è una riserva con stabilità del pendolo migliorata dal punto di vista aerodinamico, non regolata per tracciare in volo. L'esempio standard del Companion è uno dei paracadute di emergenza più leggeri attualmente.

SIMULAZIONE MODERNA DI CFD * COME METODO ANALITICO
Per la prima volta nel mercato del parapendio Companion introduce una riserva il cui sviluppo si è basato su un'autentica analisi del flusso computazionale, verificata da un'ampia progressione di prove pratiche. Al centro dell'analisi CFD c'è un sistema di feedback continuo, che ricalcola ripetutamente, molte volte, un'analisi della deformazione e della tensione sulla riserva nell'aria, tenendo conto ogni volta di tutto ciò che è accaduto prima.
Questo è un aspetto importante per l'analisi dei paracadute di emergenza perché questi si deformano molto a causa della loro pronunciata curvatura. Il nostro software di simulazione e veicolo di prova rende possibile effettuare una molteplicità di analisi CFD numeriche, nonché test di distribuzione. Al momento questo approccio è unico nello sviluppo del paracadute di soccorso.

WHY CAN I TAKE OUT ALL THE PROTECTORS?
If the protectors get damaged, e.g. after a crash, the Air-Foam Hybrid-Protector can easily be changed.
After a landing in water, for example during SIV, the harness and protector dry more quickly and thoroughly when separated than assembled.
Depending on harness size, up to 300 gm weight can be saved if the visco-elastic SAS-TEC soft-foam back protector is removed. Be aware that without the SAS-TEC back element there is no back penetration protection for the AXESS 4 and there can be a small degradation in comfort (back support).
CAN I FLY THE AXESS 4 WITH A DIFFERENT SPEEDBAR FROM ITS ORIGINAL CARBON VERSION?
Yes. When fitting it just make sure the speed lines are routed in the same way as for our premounted carbon speedbar.
DO I HAVE TO CHECK ANYTHING WITH THE AIR-FOAM HYBRID-PROTECTOR?
No. The Air-Foam Hybrid-Protector automatically develops its full protection within 60 seconds of the harness being released from the paraglider rucksack. For maximum protector life the harness should always be stored completely dry.
CAN I FLY THE AXESS 4 WITH A FOOT REST?
Absolutely! There’s a matching foot rest as an AXESS 4 optional extra. This is part of the certification and will be delivered with the “Soft” speed loop.
HOW DO THE AXESS 4, SUCCESS 4 AND PROGRESS 3 DIFFER?
